They focus on providing all the essentials for a comfortable stay without any unnecessary luxuries. The rooms are equipped with comfy dual beds, a spacious desk, and a nice chair, perfect for getting work done. I also appreciated the attention to detail with complete toiletries and hot and cold water with great shower pressure. The hotel's location is ideal, right next to the JR station and opposite a conveniently open-all-hours grocery store. The staff were friendly and the complementary noodles in the evening were a delightful touch.

Other than the station I can't really think of a reason for staying in a hotel in this location. Barely anything going on around the hotel, a couple of shops but otherwise surrounded by car garages. Hotel staff spoke very little English.

Make sure you check-out by 10 am exactly or they will hit you with a surcharge. I stayed here and at the ab Hotel next door. Although Dormy Inn is a little newer and nicer, the ab Hotel is almost as good but also included free breakfast and free dinner - a big plus.
